Welcome to Nigeria’s Transport Research and Planning Foundation (TRPF). TRPF seeks to be an internationally recognized center of excellence providing world-class training, research, and consultancy for all aspects of transport. It is a charitable organization registered in Nigeria to create a platform to bring together transport practitioners and experts to amongst others raise transport as a driver of economic development.

The mission of the Transportation Research and planning foundation (TRPF) is to promote capacity building, development, innovation, and progress in the transport sector in developing economies through training and research in transport and related disciplines.  It is our key objective to promote in an interdisciplinary setting, the sharing of information on transport policy, design and planning by researchers and practitioners in an objective, interdisciplinary, and multimodal environment.  TRPF aims to stimulate research in order to promote technical excellence and be strategically placed to provide expert advice on transport policy and programmes; and to disseminate research results to all levels of governments and private sector and encourage their implementation.

We aim to create a model for transport as a tool for economic transformation in a developing economy and as an accessible tool that encompasses the ramifications of social justice in availability to all citizens including the less able.
TRPF operates at the leading edge of transport, generating and applying science, knowledge, and understanding to develop innovative solutions to transportation questions of governments and private businesses in developing economies. We deliver expert advice to organizations from the public and private sectors on all aspects of transportation: safety; vehicles; environment; sustainability; infrastructure and a range of training and capacity building programs in all aspects of transport.
