The Leaders Society, Nigeria (LSN) fellowship is a dynamic leader-based initiative of the Leaders Society, Nigeria. Fellowships may be named after exceptionally gifted individuals who have made substantial contributions in their specialized fields of endeavor to Nigeria’s National development. 

The flagship political education and mentoring fellowship of the Society is now be known as Chief Adebisi Akande Leadership fellowship.

LSN aims to bring together aspiring and current Nigeria political leaders who want to make the required and urgently needed impact; and the difference in Nigeria’s political space through the manifest portrayal of inspirational leadership at all levels of government. Committed and visionary leaders can mobilize citizens and national resources for development. The summary concept of the LSN fellowship program is to hasten the emergence of leaders who are committed to the development of both the human and natural resource base of Nigeria to the benefit of all citizens. LSN fellows will be individuals of exceptional vision, skills, and experience who are willing to commit to the pursuit of the total developmental program for Nigeria. They should be willing to seek active participation in the governance of Nigeria at all levels to promote development in all sectors of Nigeria’s society and implement projects that have a positive impact on the Nigerian society and lift Nigeria into the status of a developed country.

[What is expected from a LSN fellow?]

  • During the one year period of the programme you will be able to complete a project with a socio-political impact as part of a team.
  • Attend monthly project discussion forums including roundtables, seminars, protected time with chosen mentor and networking events in Nigeria and other locations.
  • Prospective fellows should note that a month long Residency of all Fellows will take place in the UK or other locations outside Nigeria on a quarterly basis.
  • Fellows are responsible for all expenses and fees during the period of the programme.
