Full membership is open to all Nigerians. Joining fee for full membership is $50 or its equivalent AND an annual
subscription of $240 or its equivalent.

Open to non-Nigerians who have contributed to, are working in areas of research related to Nigeria or those who wish to participate in the political debates of Nigeria affairs. Associate membership of the Society is entitled to all benefits of full membership but cannot hold Board level or other leadership positions in the Society. No joining fee but are required to take out annual subscription of $100.

This is conferred by the Society on those individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Nigeria's national development. Patrons shall be regarded as honorary fellows of the international faculty. Honorary fellows support the Society in diverse ways in her work.

The student group of LSN comprise
students at both underground and post graduate education level in
Nigeria or abroad who are registered into the society. The LSN
values the unique ideas and views young people bring into the
organisation. Joining fee for student members is $20 or its equivalent, no annual subscription is charged to members in full time education. They work on policy ideas affecting especially young people. They will have the opportunity for internship and mentoring
schemes to prepare them for leadership roles in and outside of government including the market place. They hold regular conferences, specialized youth events, as well as organizing seminars and discussion forums.

This includes organisations with corporate interest in helping build a Nigerian society where business and government dealings are led by people who are passionate about transmitting the values of ethical leadership and the conduct of business in a more open and transparent way.

LSN shall establish and promote the establishment of a women’s group to both research and promote the elevation of Nigerian women in political leadership through specific leadership training and mentoring programmes needed to crack the glass ceiling of restrictions in the political space for this very important group of Nigerians. LSN will be actively seeking the endowment of specialized fellowships in all aspects of political organizing for Nigerian women with requisite drive and capacities for leadership in the political space.
